Take landscape photos for NASA's PACE mission

Volunteer observations will help verify PACE vegetation color indices to support the refinement of a novel data product. Learn more about how PACE is tracking leaf color change in this video: "Leaf Peeping with PACE" (1:25) 

Gather your materials

• Download the GLOBE Observer app.

Collect and Enter your data

• Choose a location where you can see the forest landscape. Use the Land Cover tool in the GLOBE Observer app to take photos in each cardinal direction, up, down, and also take a "Feature Photo" of the landscape.

Leaf color changes rapidly and regular repeat observations are appreciated!
