A new satellite has joined the GLOBE Clouds family! Meet PACE – the Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem satellite. Starting in August, your cloud data will be matched to the PACE satellite. Your observations will provide additional insight and verification to scientists developing cloud products with PACE data.

On August 27, Dr. Andy Sayer from PACE joined Marilé Colón Robles from the GLOBE Clouds team to introduce PACE and a new Clouds Challenge to collect clouds observations aligned with PACE worldwide. Dr. Sayer introduced PACE to the GLOBE community and how the GLOBE data will be useful to his research, and Ms. Colón Robles described how the process to collect data with GLOBE Observer during the challenge.
