GLOBE Observer is part of the GLOBE Program. The GLOBE Program began on Earth Day in 1995 as a science and education program that provides students and teachers worldwide with the opportunity to participate in Earth science research. GLOBE Observer was born from the GLOBE Program in 2016 to invite volunteers of all ages to participate in GLOBE.

Since GLOBE Observer is part of the GLOBE Program, we will be merging with GLOBE’s Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, and Instagram accounts on March 1, 2020. All social media links on the GLOBE Observer website and app now lead to the GLOBE Program accounts where GLOBE Observer will be posting content with the NASAGO hashtag. You can still contact us through these social media accounts or through our web page.
