Trees Around the GLOBE Webinar: Comparisons Between Ground- and Space-Based Data
This webinar will discuss examples of tree height and land cover observations from across GLOBE and NASA and how comparing the data allows for us to better understand local to global environmental conditions and impacts.

The GLOBE Program recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary on Earth Day, 22 April 2025. Ten years ago, work began to develop the GLOBE Observer app, and it formally launched in 2016 with the first tool, Clouds. Webinar: Flowering Tree Phenology from the Ground and Space
In this special webinar as part of the Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign, Dr. Yoseline Angel will discuss her research connecting ground observations of flowering trees to satellite data, and describe a request for data from GLOBE Program participants using the GLOBE Observer app.

GLOBE Observer Connect April 2025
On 10 April at 8 pm EDT (00:00 UTC), GLOBE Observer Connect will feature Emma Giles from SciStarter and Dr. Rusty Low and Cassie Soeffing from GLOBE. They will lead a discussion about how to connect your GLOBE observations to SciStarter to participate in Citizen Science Month and where to find mosquito larvae as the season gets underway.

North America Phenology Webinar with Dr. Burakowski
Dr. Elizabeth Burakowski, Research Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire, will share about the research she does on the vernal window, or winter-spring shoulder season, and how it aligns with the GLOBE North American Phenology Campaign.
